Fees
Trial Lesson: £15.00
A one-off trial lesson fee of £15.00 is payable. All students begin with a trial lesson, which gives us an opportunity to assess whether the student and teacher are a good fit before proceeding with full registration and regular lessons.
Registration Fee: £25.00
A one-off registration fee is payable upon enrolment and covers student administration, onboarding, and account setup. Students who enrol on the day of their trial lesson will have the Registration Fee waived and will only be charged the Starter Kit Fee.
Starter Kit: £50.00
A one-off Starter Kit Fee is charged for all new students and includes learning resources, student materials, and initial setup to support a successful start at Yumi's Music School.

Lessons are taught during term time only and follow the local school academic calendar. No lessons are scheduled during school holidays unless otherwise arranged.
Sproutbeat: £7.00/month
After a few months of lessons, when the teacher feels a student is ready, access to SproutBeat may be introduced as part of their learning programme.
SproutBeat is a structured practice and progress-tracking platform designed to encourage consistent home practice, improve accountability, and support long-term musical development.
Once enrolled, a monthly subscription fee of £7.00 will apply. Parents and students will be notified before access is activated.
Resources
Book Fee
Learning materials and books are provided as students progress through their studies. When a student is ready for the next book or resource, parents will be notified and the cost will be added to their next invoice.
Piano Marvel: £17.00/month
(Intermidiate-Advanced Students Only)
Once a student progresses to Piano Adventures Level 1, they will be enrolled in Piano Marvel, our interactive online practice platform.
A Piano Marvel account will be created for the student, and a monthly subscription fee of £17.00 will apply. Students are expected to use the platform for regular home practice to support their progress between lessons. As part of the subscription, students will gain access to the exclusive Yumi's Music School Piano Marvel Library, which contains carefully selected lesson materials, technical exercises, sight-reading activities, and exam preparation resources to support ABRSM and Trinity examinations.
Exam Submission Fee: £30.00
A £30.00 administration fee is charged for each exam entry submitted through Yumi's Music School.
This fee covers the administration and management of the examination process, including exam registration, submission of entry forms, communication with the examination board, scheduling arrangements, and ongoing support throughout the exam preparation period.
Please note that examination board fees are charged separately and are not included in the Exam Submission Fee.
School Accompanist Service
Yumi's Music School offers a dedicated School Accompanist Service for students participating in examinations, concerts, festivals, competitions, auditions, and other performances.
Our School Accompanist works closely with students to provide professional accompaniment and rehearsal support where required. This service helps students gain confidence and experience performing with a collaborative pianist, an important skill in their musical development.
Accompaniment and rehearsal fees are charged separately and vary depending on the repertoire and event requirements. A quotation will be provided in advance.
